The good word of Nurgle is sometimes a hard pill to swallow. But these disciples make the word a real threat. Check out this incredibly themed army!
Adepticon 2019 hosted game after game of everything tabletop. 40k was one of the biggest events there and that meant that there were people from all around the globe with incredible armies. Check out this Nurgle list.
This army comes to us from a group of hobbyists: Kyle Fjerstad, Daniel Young, Mike Thompson, April Reyna, and Carlyle Sutton.
The Good Word of Nurgle: Adepticon 2019 Army Showcase
We all know that Nurgle loves to “bless” his children in manners of resilience and the occasional boil or tentacle. But these followers of Nurgle have dedicated their cause to churchly worship. Before we go into the full breakdown of the army, check out the absolutely stunning mural work on the windows of the display. It’s advertising Nurgle from street blocks away!
This Daemon Prince has been blessed by Nurgle so many times it’s hard to imagine that he was once a Traitor Marine. He’s taken up the cloth now and leads his loyal followers.
The crisp white paint job on these Marines is something akin to the original Death Guard Legion back in the times of the Horus Heresy.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a good gathering without a little help from the Plaguebearer choir in the risers.
One thing we always love to point out in an army showcase is the matching base details. Nothing says “unity” quite like an entire list matching with the display.
Down in the parking deck, we’ve got all the plague-spreading armor standing by waiting for the service to be over.
We move fast taking pictures when we’re guests at tournaments helping to cover the event for them. If this is your army and you would like the full-size images or credit added to the article, just email us: support AT spikeybits.com
All in all, this is just another head-turning army that was spotted at Adepticon 2019. What do you think about the theme of this list? Do you like the original Death Guard white? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
