Checkout this Astra Militarum list that took home 3rd place at a Grand Tournament recently.
Spikey Bits reader Scott ‘Fake Marshall’ Switzer place 3rd at the Crux of War at NashCon over the weekend. He’s in love with the Guard, and heck Cotaez is not a bad addition either IMHO.
Time to make it rain on the forces of the Imperium!
Take it away Scott….
Pretty fun list. I use the servo skulls to stop scouting moves and make the manticores more accurate. Also I put the PCS in the vendettas to grav chute out and score objectives down the field. Other than that it’s pretty straight forward. I put the primaris and the inquisitors in the 1st platoon blob to buff them up (psychotroke grenades and the old psyk-out grenades help a lot) the other platoon is broke up into two chimeras for a little mobile scoring. I think vendettas are still pretty good. More durable than they get credit for.
