Unfortunately due to the condition of the world, Las Vegas Open (LVO) 2021 has been officially canceled by Frontline Gaming. Check out the details.
Frontline Gaming was going to run LVO 2021 as usual, unfortunately, they had to make the call to skip this year only days after Adepticon’s announcement. This wouldn’t have been an easy decision for them, check out what to do if you paid for the event already.
The Las Vegas Open 2021: CANCELLED
The Las Vegas Open 2021 event has been cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic. If you purchased a ticket, please fill out this form to instruct as to what you would like to do with your ticket funds.
The form needs to be completed by January 28th, 2021 at 7 pm PST, if not the price of admission will just be taken as a donation to the event. If you do complete the form you can do a few things with the refund. You can either get a normal refund, apply it as store credit toward Frontline Gaming, or apply it directly to LVO 2022.
Filling out the form is definitely important if you need those funds. Frontline Gaming is sure to have a ton of losses by canceling the event, so it’s not a bad cause if you decide to leave your ticket cost as a donation.
All hotel reservations are going to be canceled automatically on December 7th, so if you still need the room for other reasons and will still travel, be sure to replace your reservation.
Gaming can wait, health comes first.
Are you bummed about the event cancelation? Are you going to try to grab a ticket for 2022?
