Lava Dragon King:
Take a look at this massive monster from the Kingdom Death miniature collection, painted by Tyler Hemmerly. Our client requested an alternate theme to the canon colors typically seen on the Dragon King. One of the key features our client was adamant about was the fiery glow seen coursing through its veins. Taking it a step further, we incorporated more heat spots to accentuate the effect, including glowing obsidian teeth and horns. Along with the green skin and fleshy wings, we think the colors read well on a fun model to paint!
The basing was painted to match the fiery theme and was created in house by Mitchell Evans. You can see more photos of this model on Flickr here.
