Imperial Guard finished first at the Feliz Exterminatus over the weekend, as these Warhammer 40k army lists took the top three spots!
The tournament is over, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought into their armies.
Top 3 40k Army Lists: Feliz Exterminatus
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves.
3rd Place: Stephen Henderson – Tyranids
2nd Place: Brent Simon – Chaos Daemons
1st Place: Dan Sammons – Astra Militarum
Dan’s Winning guard was a two detachment set up, with the first being a Supreme Command fielding the lone Lord Solar as the new top dog in Astra Militarum lore (at least that you can field)!
The majority of the list is in a Battalion led by a Tank Commander and two command squads. There are also a ton of bodies with three squads of SHock troops and three squads of Karskin, all of which can benefit from the leadership’s supportive abilities.
Next up are three Scout Sentinels, which are cheap mobile and pack decent special weapons.
And lastly, Heavy Support brings in four iconic Leman Russ, along with the previously less-seen Deathstrike, for a suite of armored, durable, mobile, ranged threats.
When you absolutely, positively have to destroy a single spot on the table, accepted no substitutes over the new Deathstrike!
