Top 40k Homebrew Army List From Feliz Exterminatus

40k-homebrew-army-listsChaos Knights scored a spot as a new homebrew Warhammer 40k army list from the Feliz Exterminatus GT!

Check out this awesome homebrew list that emerged in a tournament over the weekend that once again shows that sometimes it’s more about the general’s skill than what you play.

Top 40k Homebrew Army List: Feliz Exterminatus

Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves.

If you wanted to see the names and factions of the overall winners, we’ve included that below.

However, we aren’t covering all those lists. Instead, we will look at just one of our favorites this week.

Feliz Exterminatus: Chris Campbell – Chaos Knights 6th Place

While the meta has some rocks that always seem to hover around the top, knights seem to ebb and flow, with some top 8 finishes popping up now and then.

This time around, Chris went for pure Chaos Knights, and while he didn’t take home the 1st place, maybe he will (or a list like his will) soon!

His army was a Super Heavy detachment led by an Abominant and a Desecrator. The Abominant is a solid enough chassis on its own, but the added bonus of psychic powers gives it a gigantic boost to Chaos Knight lists.

The Desecrator is pretty standard but is the more AP-weapon-focused knight, making for a dangerous threat that can snipe opponent models off the board very quickly. It also helps boost up nearby War Dogs!

The rest of the list is War Dogs! Three Brigands, Three Stalkers, and a single Karnivore. The Brigands are all in ranged damage with some good ranged weapons and no real melee options.

The Stalkers, on the other hand, have a mixed methodology with both melee and ranged options that perform great in any situation. Lastly, the Karnivore is even slightly more melee focused with more movement, and fewer ranged kit options, making it the most melee-leaning, but still a mixed kit with ranged and melee capability.
