Top 40k Homebrew Army List: Uprising Adelaide 2023

40k-homebrew-army-listsAd Mech scored a spot as a new homebrew Warhammer 40k army list from the Uprising Adelaide 2023!

Check out this excellent homebrew list that emerged in a tournament over the weekend that once again shows that sometimes it’s more about the general’s skill than what you play.

Top 40k Homebrew Army List: Uprising Adelaide 2023

Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves.

If you wanted to see the names and factions of the overall winners, we’ve included that below.

Note: This event DID use the new 2023 Chapter Approved Arks of Omen!

Uprising Adelaide: Ben Warrior – Adeptus Mechanicus 8th Place

Skitarii Adeptus Mechanicus Wal Hor

Ben’s Ad Mech did very well at the huge event. His list was led by two Dominus and two Technoarcheologists. The Dominus are great because they can heal nearby units and have great hit re-roll auras. The Archeologists, on the other hand, get a free slot for each Dominus, can also heal units, and even can buff a unit that you need to commit actions that round!

Troops go with 11 Breachers for some great models that can perform in melee and ranged combat, along with five Destroyers which are completely dedicated to Chaff duty thanks to blast and flamers.

Elites have ten infiltrators for some mobility and close-range focused models, along with 30 Ruststalkers for dedicated melee threats!

Transports have two Duneriders and a Termite to prove some extra shots, along with some big boosts to protection and mobility for the units that embark inside them!
