3rd Place: Cannon Biggs – Grey Knights

1st Place: David Ozawa – Grey Knights
Starting off David’s Grey Knights list, they have a Patrol led by Draigo and a Grand Master in Nemesis Dreadknight. The Grand Master serves as a great psyker with support for the list and can teleport in. He also comes with some hard-hitting melee and ranged weapons making him a beast in all-around combat and utility.
Draigo also comes with extra psychic support and a decent ranged weapon. But his real combat prowess is in his named melee weapon, making him a serious threat if too close. He also provides re-rolls to nearby Grey Knights which is always a welcome buff.
Troops see a 5 man Strike Squad added for some flexibility and some extra bodies to sit on objectives. Elites bring in an Apothecary to help top off other units every turn to maybe get an extra turn of value out of them. There is also a Purifier Squad, which helps take out chaff thanks to their Purifying Flame power.
Fast Attacks bring in 11 Interceptors, for some much-needed mobility and a few extra bodies to help secure objectives and take out stragglers. While heavy support closes the list with a single Dreadknight, which like the Grandmaster is a beast in ranged and melee combat, however, does not get his extra goodies that come with being a more expensive HQ.
The second detachment is a dense one as a patrol with only 4 models! It is led by a second Grand Master, doubling down on his prowess in combat and support. There are also a few more bodies in a second 5 man Strike Squad closing out Troops.
Finally, there are 2 more Nemesis Dreadknights, bringing the total to 3 and the functional total to 5 thanks to the Grand Masters. Dreadknights are absolutely fantastic units, so it makes sense to see them dominating the Grey Knight and wider 40k meta so well right now.
