40k-homebrew-army-listsHere’s what scored the top spot as our new homebrew 10th Edition Warhammer 40k army list from the Salt City Tournament.

Check out this excellent homebrew list that emerged in a tournament over the weekend that shows that sometimes it’s more about the general’s skill than what you play.

Salt City GT: Brian Shyne – Chaos Knights 6th Place

Brian Shyne 1

Brian’s Chaos Knights did fairly well, landing in the Top 8 led by a Tyrant featuring some huge ranged weapon threats to attempt to snipe down any major enemy threats. There is also a warlord War Dog running blast, and a melee weapon to handle swaths of bodies.

There are then 6 Brigands for their fantastic anti-armor ranged weapons and fairly good melee weapons to help clean up any stragglers.

Brian Shyne 3

The last two knights are Karnivores for their great melee stats to charge in and hopefully take out any enemy forces that get too close. The final unit is an allied Changeling for some cheap psychic support to round out the points.
