Two new GW previews are on the way (one during the week and one on the weekend) GW confirmed for AoS, Warhammer 40k, HH, and more!
It looks like GW wants to drop all the details for 4th Edition AoS on its own, as it will get a full preview. In contrast, games like 40k, Horus Heresy, Necromunda, and Legions Imperialis will get a separate weekend preview. Luckily, this time around, the previews will be more normal for most people (not in the dead of night).
GW Announces Two New Previews For AoS, 40k, HH, & More!
Here is the latest on the new Warhammer previews from Warhammer Community.
Well, we’ve seen a bunch of new miniatures and some rules and basically know what’s going to be in the starter box. However, you only have to wait about a week or so to see everything! They will show off the box’s name, the full contents, and more about the new edition.
If you can’t make it to the live event, you can catch the broadcast on the Warhammer Twitch channel – we’ll link to that here on Warhammer Community on the day. The show starts at 7pm CDT – that’s 1am BST for us Brits.
We said the previews would be at a better time, but we meant the main preview on the weekend. This will still be near the middle of the night for UK and EU hobbyists, but trust us, the other one is better!
Second Preview Show
There’s actually asecondpreview on the following Saturday, focusing on anything that isn’t Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
The following weekend, four other games will be previewed! There is no Old World this time around, but there is plenty to look at. As we said, this is actually going to be a decent time for both North America and the UK. Be sure to set your calendars for a Saturday of hobby goodness.
The Dallas Open will stream a 2,000-point Warhammer Age of Sigmar Matched Play game live on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. CDT. This is the first time such a game will be live-streamed, and it should let you spot a bunch of new rules, mechanics, and maybe some new models!
What to Expect For Warhammer 40k
With CSM hitting pre-order this weekend, we can only assume we will see the codex preview for both Sisters and Genestealer Cults. We haven’t seen too many rumors about what new models they will get, but let’s hope it’s a decent number and not just single characters (but it might just be).
Then, we might see the redacted codex, which we’ve heard all kinds of rumors about, including Agents of the Imperium, Blood Angels, and more.
Horus Heresy
GW dropped a little teaser trailer at the last preview about Ad Mech coming to Horus Heresy, so we expect them to get a bigger reveal this time.
Something sinister stirs in the badlands of Necromunda, far from the prying eyes of hive gangers and the infighting nobles whose clamour for power has set the ash wastes ablaze. While everyone watched the battle between Lady Haera Helmawr and the rebel Lady Credo with rapt attention, a far more malign presence began to make its first moves…
If you ask us, these could easily be the nobles coming down to fight for their resources, but GW didn’t say much this time around. However, they mention Helmawr and Credo, so maybe we’ll get some hard-hitting reinforcements soon!
Either way, exciting times are ahead for Warhammer fans, with two new previews announced for Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40k, Horus Heresy, and more. Whether you’re interested in new miniatures, rules, or games, there’s something for everyone.
