3rd Place: Joshua Cowlard – Orks
2nd Place: Jamie Chapman – Chaos Space Marines
1st Place: Ross Hilliard – Chaos Space Marines
Ross’s winning CSM was led by Abaddon for easily the best solo model in the faction, along with a Dark Commune for some great value even as a super cheap HQ giving you a 5+ invulnerable save and a fantastic once-per-battle combat buff.
Battleline brings a single unit of cultists for some simple wound soaking. While other sheets bring accursed cultists to pair with the Dark Commune and three Forgefiends for some great ranged threats with decent durability.
A unit of Obilerators brings more firepower to the list, while three units of Warp Talons bring some pretty decent mobility that can do alright on the charge and get some damage in.
Allied units bring in four units of Nurglings to soak wounds and wrap up opposing units for a few turns after charging. Blue Scribes close out the list on a model that pumps out some mortal wounds and also helps mitigate incoming mortal wounds!
