Welcome back hobby maniacs! Today we are cracking open the Talons of The Emporer: Valerian and Aleya release for Black Library Celebration 2020. We are going to take a look at the quality of these new minis and show you what it is going to take to get these ready to join your Talons of the Emperor.

Valerian & AleyaLet’s get started with the instructions. For the most part, the Valerian model goes together fine. The only two places to pay close attention to are where his hand meets the sword on his belt and the small laurels that attack above his head. You may want to use tweezers for these!

As far as Aleya, the only thing to watch out for on this one is where her hands meet. Some Vallejo Plastic Putty or using some Tamiya Thin Cement might help you reduce any seamlines on these parts.

These two minis will come on a single half-size sprue.

Here they are all dressed up for war! Valeria & Aleya look great and if you decide to pick up this new limited release you will not be disappointed with the quality. They should make a great addition to your Custodes army on the battlefield.

UPDATE: Since the latest official GW previews, it looks like Custodes and Sisters of Silence will be getting a rules tweak to be playable with one another in-game
