Warhammer Conquest Magazine is Making a Comeback

GW’s hobby magazine is making a comeback. They’ve just announced yesterday that you can subscribe to Conquest once again! Check out what comes inside.

Don’t know what Conquest is? It’s a subscription magazine that is hobby-focused. Usually coming with a model and paintbrush to get you started. The thing is, GW tried to get it off the ground a while ago and they eventually canned the whole operation.

Well, now it’s back! Check out what Warhammer Community has to say about it.

If you missed our first post on Conquest, we’ve got it all right here for you.

The Initial Conquest

Games Workshop has started a new weekly mailorder subscription program for the UK customers called Warhammer Conquest. Let’s take a look at what they had to say about it and what comes with each issue:

Discover the history, battles and heroes of the 41st Millennium with fascinating articles in your exclusive magazine.

Learn how to build your miniatures and then paint them to perfection with detailed step-by-step guides and handy hints and tips. When you’ve completed your models, lead them into battle on the tabletop and play through exciting stories and thrilling missions to test the limits of your new army!

Each month you’ll receive 4 issues delivered to your door with FREE P&P

Each issue costs £7.99, with the exception of issue 1 at £1.99 and issue 2 at £4.99

As part of your subscription benefits, one of your issues will be FREE and you will also receive 5 FREE gifts during the course of your collection.

But, that’s not all! You’re also going to be getting six different bonuses throughout your subscription.

Conquest Delivery Bonus

For now, the Warhammer Conquest subscription is only available for customers in the UK. The first issue is going to cost you £1.99, issue 2 is £4.99, and each issue after is going to cost you £7.99. This is a great deal when you actually look at the minis, paint, brush, dice, and delivery bonuses that you’ll be receiving.

You’ll receive your issue of Warhammer Conquest, along with your bonuses, weekly in your mail, and it leaves us wondering if we can expect to see something like this starting sometime soon for the rest of the world. If you live in the UK and you’re already a subscriber, we’d love to hear what your initial thoughts are on Warhammer Conquest so far.

Warhammer Conquest Magazine is Making a Comeback

Conquest is still the same type of subscription magazine as it was before. Mainly focusing on the hobby side of things. The magazines will give painting tips and different modeling guides in general. But there’s a catch for everyone who isn’t in the UK. It won’t be available to people outside of the UK for a while.

The series will be launching first in the UK, available from selected retailers, with subscriptions available online.

The initial release will be UK only, but we know that there will be loads of you across the world who are interested, so we are looking at ways we can make this available in more countries – watch this space…

What do I get Inside Exactly?

Warhammer 40,000 Conquest is part magazine, part regular supply drop of new models, which makes this a fantastic way to begin your Warhammer journey – or to introduce someone new.  Over the course of the series, subscribers will receive all of the models, tools, paints and paintbrushes you require to create two sizeable armies – Space Marines and Death Guard – that are ready to take to the battlefields of the 41st Millennium.

It’ll more than likely be a random unit of the two factions, but stick with it long enough and you should have two decently-sized armies. The main idea behind this magazine isn’t to build an army though. It’s to help you become a better painter and hobbyist in general.

Again, sadly it’s only in the UK for now but hopefully, doors will open up to let the rest of the world have a slice of Conquest.

If the U.S is getting their own Forge World distribution center soon, it shouldn’t be too hard to get a magazine right?

What do you think of Conquest? Will you be subscribing to it when you get access to it? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
