GW’s latest Warhammer rumor engine preview reveals a jet engine that looks at home for Space Marines, or perhaps this is a build-up for another primarch model?

Updated November 27th, 2024, by Rob Baer with new information and links to relevant content.

Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed. Let’s check out what it could be and try to guess until then!

Looks like the Games Workshop vault has gone into lockdown, and the Advent Engine preview this December has been thrown out the window! So, it’s back to our regular weekly previews—because who needs a holiday surprise when we’re getting 24 new 40k 10th Edition rules detachments instead

This (jet) engine can only really be a vehicle, in theory, but there are a few games and factions that are possible, and while “Imperium” seems like the easy pick, there are some fun options like Orks and even Necromunda miniatures that are possible, too! But upon closer inspection…

That right there is a grav-plate! The “roll bar” kinda looks like what can be found on Votann buggies, but grav-plates (currently) are a very Space Marine thing!

If we check out this Repulsor, the engine, along with the plates are a near match, making some sort of primaris hover-craft or even a Jetbike very likely!

Khan on TWO bikes

Speaking of jetbikes, maybe Games Workshop goes wild and brings back the Primarch Khan himself on Voidbike or releases a primaris Kosorro on Moondraken. Still, though… who knows? Curve balls happen, and specialist games usually get some super unique models. We will have to wait and see!
