3D printing is taking our hobby to the next level, as more and more people aren’t waiting for Games Workshop to come out with the models they want!

Much like Napster and Limewire in the early 2000’s there is a dedicated group of underground hobbyists out there designing and printing, and sharing their own models that THEY want way before Games Workshop even thinks about making them

Checkout this amazing Epic scale Warlord titan that was just spotted on Dakka (above):

It seems they are saying that the models are scanned FW models that have been 3D Printed and then cast by someone.

Note the mini Angron primarch model in the bottom right as well!

Now when it comes to this particular model, we know Games Workshop has the technology to print out their own as well:

It’s even possible / probable they will for the rumored upcoming release of Adeptus Titanicus that folks have have been looking forward to after the re-release of Blood Bowl was so well received!

But as technology advances, will Games Workshop and other manufacturers be able to keep up with what is sure to go from being a underground sharing hobby, to full blown production efforts?
