The new FAQ seems to still be on hold, but that hasn’t kept folks from voicing their opinion on what needs to get fixed. Come find out our latest thoughts on where GW can go with this one.
Almost three weeks after Adepticon and we’re still sitting here waiting for the spring 40k FAQ from Games Workshop. Well, that didn’t stop our writers from telling us what they think needs fixing. Let’s take a look at what they’ve had to say so far.
Remember too it may be a FAQ-aplooza sooner than later as we still are waiting on both the T’au and Necron FAQ’s as well.
Jstove is back with another instant classic, and this time we’re getting his opinion on the Hive Tyrant spam we’ve been seeing lately. Is it cause or symptom?
The new 40k FAQ should be out any day now, but how should Games Workshop deal with HQ spam? Get rid of the problem altogether, or just let it continue?
So from the sounds of it, HQ spam, HQ spam, and oh yeah HQ spam is what’s looking to be the general consensus that people want to see fixed in the next FAQ.
It’s entirely possible that that’s something Games Workshop realized was a problem at Adepticon this year, they’re trying to figure out a solution, and that’s the big hold up on the FAQ release.
While it’s a possibility, it’s most likely not the solitary reason for what’s taking so long. GW has done a great job in 8th edition listening to the community and top-level players, figuring out what’s actually broken and not just people unhappy because their army doesn’t play the way they want. But, this time it seems pretty obvious that people are wanting the HQ spam problem fixed.
What do you think? Is HQ spam something you would like to see fixed? Or is there another pressing matter you would like to see changed? Drop us a line in the comments below and let us know.
I’m a huge fan of anything tabletop. I play strictly Chaos in Warhammer, and Imperial in anything Star Wars. I spent 8 years in the military. Now I’m happy to be a civilian working with a great group of people.
