All week Games Workshop will be taking a closer look at the new Heroes of the Triumvirate of Ynnead. Today is The Visarch, Yvraine’s chosen champion.
We’re starting off with the Visarch, a mysterious crimson warrior bearing armour of ancient Aeldari design, and incorporating elements of craftworld, Commorrite and Harlequin aesthetics.
He is a mysterious killer, powered by the souls of those unfortunates he has slain and those who have marched to war beside him.
The Visarch is carrying the Sword of Silent Screams, which has an aura of silence surrounding it, preventing enemy commanders from giving orders to their troops. On top of this unique ability it also carries with it AP2, allowing it to cut through even the toughest of enemies. He’s not only a body guard and protector of Yvraine, allowing him to take wounds for her, but he also absorbs energy letting him heal his own wounds, and gain additional attacks.
