How do they work? The War Council discusses Magnets and picking the right ones for the job!

War Council™ is a presentation of White Metal Games™ and airs twice a month.  Unlike many gaming centered podcasts, our show focuses exclusively on HOBBY.  No mathhammer or GT/Meta game talk here.  We talk to industry professional about painting, sculpting, 3D printing and casting models, kit bashing, and more!  Caleb Dillon is the Owner of White Metal Games and Phillip Kohrman is the owner of Brushwork Minis.

We are full time miniature painters, making a living doing what we love, and we invite you to join us for a chat about miniatures!

In this episode White Metal Games resident painter Valentin Melik joins Caleb and Phillip for a chat about Magnets.  We talk about types of magnets, picking the right size, tips for maintaining polarity and not getting confused, as well as what types of magnets you should choose.

We settle the debate about grades of magnets (N fifty what?), discuss what ‘rare earth’ actually means, and point out our favorite vendors for not only magnets but magnet related products!

In addition we announce our new Tandem Commission, Deathwatch vs Xenos, talk about our upcoming Display Boards for two high level armies, and chat about Nova Open!  It’s our longest episode in a while, almost 90 minutes, so settle in for a long one!  We had a lot to say on the subject.

Next time on the show we’ll be back from Nova and chatting about how the event went and all we experienced!  If you can’t attend, it’s the next best thing
