The Scum Guns for Hire expansion will give the Kihraxzs fighter a new boost to its offensive prowess on the table, including the new Ace: Viktor Hel!
Viktor Hel is a pilot skill 7 Kihraxz fighter pilot with an interesting ability. After defending if you did not roll exactly 2 defense dice, the attacker receives 1 stress token. This is an interesting way to keep you opponent honest when attacking Viktor. If an enemy is already stressed, he may be reluctant to shoot Viktor, but only if his defense dice aren’t 2. There are ways to change them up.
Expose is an Elite upgrade that can use an action to increase your primary weapon attack by 1 and decrease your agility by 1. This can both boost defense and activate Viktor’s ability. Range 2 is the sweet spot, but range 3 can make it happen as well.
The Vaksai is a perfect upgrade for Viktor, allowing him to equip 2 modifications and get a sweet upgrade discount in theprocess. This can also open up all kinds of combination possibilities. 
Stealth Device is a great upgrade to slap onto Viktor, keeping his ability turned on until he gets hit by an attack. Boosting his defense in the process is a welcome side effect, and having it all for only 2 points.
Another defensive boost for Viktor is Pulsed Ray Shield. He fits the 1 shield requirement and can help him heal up after his engagement. Being ioned is a little tricky to deal with, but if he peels off the main battle he should be fine while healing up.
