This TIE shuttle build is all about synergy and aiding your other ships in your squadron. The TIE shuttle strips away all ordnance upgrades but gives you the ability to add 2 crew. Consider Fleet Officer and Systems Officer. Fleet Officer allows you to assign a focus token to 2 friendly ships within range 1-2, albeit with the cost of 1 stress. Systems Officer has nice synergy with this, as he allows you to assign one target lock to a friendly ship at range 1 after completing a green maneuver. Excellent! Hand out 2 focus and a target lock in one turn? Heck yeah!
Major Rhymer – TIE Shuttle + Snap Shot + Twin Ion Engine MkII + Systems Officer + Fleet Officer = 34 points
Since this TIE shuttle will mainly be a support ship, the addition of Snap Shot will be a nice trick to catch your opponent off guard. Major Rhymer makes Snap Shot even better, extending the already short range of 1 to 1-2 with his pilot ability.
