The Scum and Villainy aces expansion for X-Wing™, Guns for Hire adds tremendous versatility to the faction’s Kihraxz fighters and StarVipers. Both are represented by miniatures with eye-catching alternative paint schemes, and you’ll find a handful of ambitious new pilots eager to fly them, as well as two new Titles and other upgrades with which you can get them combat-ready. Altogether, the expansion comes with two starfighter miniatures, eight ship cards, twelve upgrades, and four condition cards, plus all the maneuver dials, bases, and tokens you need to send your hired guns to battle!
Oh boy is this going to be an exciting expansion! The Scum StarViper was an impressive entry into Star Wars X-Wing, but it suffered from its high cost. It was very difficult to fit it into a list without it being bare-bones. With the Guns For Hire expansion, the StarViper gets a new title upgrade that will fix those problems.
The StarViper Mk.II is an upgrade much like for the TIE Advanced and TIE Defender that makes the equipped ship so much better. This title allows you to equip up to 2 different titles, so Virago and StarViper Mk.II can both fit on here. The StarViper Mk. II upgrade also reduces the point cost of the equipped ship by 3, giving you plenty of room for upgrades.
This new title also gives you an interesting ability that declares that you must use the 1 bank for your barrel rolls. This is a nifty little tech piece that can make the StarViper the most nimble ship out there! The Kihraxz fighter also gets some title love in this expansion.
The Vaksai title gives you the incredible ability to equip up to 3 different modification upgrades, and every upgrade you equip is reduced by 1 point! Elite, Ordnance, and Modifications all at a discount of 1 point!

Viktor Hel is a PS 7 ship that has an ability that causes the attacker to receive 1 stress token if you did not roll exactly 2 defense dice. This can be beneficial at Range 3 when he gets 1 extra defense dice for a range modifier or it can come in handy with the Stealth Device upgrade. This guy will be hell to pin down!
