New Titan – Epic 40k Model Hidden In Plain Sight?

FW-WARLORD-TITAN

Come see what may be a new Titan for the revamped Specialist line from Games Workshop, that’s been hiding in plain sight for months!

I’m sure most of you saw this picture a few months ago and thought nothing of it, simply a test of the 3D to make the Warlord right?

Well  now we’ve heard about Specialist Games coming back from Games Workshop, and it seems to all make sense perhaps.

From that pic I’m thinking that is a 60mm base. A flat version of that base was actually invented for Legio Titanicus in the 1990’s and for the longest time up to the release of the beveled 60mm base for the Cadian Heavy Weapon Team it was referred to on GW’s site as “titan base”.

Here is the previous Warlord in metal, on a 60mm base.

So this could be a indication of new Forge World Epic models to come, in the current 6mm scale of Epic, or just a small prototype for the Warlord like we all seemed to think in the first place.

What say ye?
