Despite What GW Says, Eldar are Still a Problem According to This

codex-book-rules-eldar-warhammer-40k aeldariDespite GW saying the NERFs were enough for Eldar, they are still a huge problem, according to the data from recent tournaments.

In the recent Metawatch from GW, they talked a lot about what factions were doing badly, and which ones were winning above 55%. However, they seemed to gloss over Aeldari quite a bit. More or less saying the NERFs to Fate dice was enough to blunt the faction.

However… The recent data shows they are still a clear number one faction in 10th Edition Warhammer 40k still. Let’s hope they take all the data into account and not just their own Tacoma Open because even though Aeldari didn’t win there, they are smashing the meta.

Despite What GW Says, Eldar Are Still a Problem According to This

The chart comes from Blood of Kittens.

Eldar are still a problem

This past weekend there were seven big 10th Edition Warhammer 40k, and we got a decent amount of data on the new edition. Obviously, this still isn’t enough to go off for everything but does give a good idea of where everything is at.

While Eldar didn’t win every tournament, they are still dominating the scene with eight total placings across the seven tournaments. They not only won two tournaments, but they also swept the Show Me Showdown, which had 100 players. GSC also did great, as many people thought they would, but they are three placings behind Aeldari. This is one of the biggest winning percentages we have seen in a while.

On top of that, the NERFs really only seemed to hurt Imperial Knights (who dropped quite drastically from the last time we looked), and they were one of the best armies against Aeldari. So while GW seems to think the NERFs they did were enough, the numbers would say otherwise.

GW has said they want to make balance changes, but let’s hope they look at the data and don’t get stuck on their position that Eldar are not a problem still…
