RUMORS: New Release Schedule for 40k, AoS, & Warhammer Old World!

chaos rumors new wal hor warhammer games workshopHuge rumors are here for the miniature release schedule for all the big games, including 40k, AoS, and the Warhammer Old World!

It looks like someone working at GW leaked a ton of info for some new 40k kits we can expect in the future when the new edition of AoS will be released, and more about the actual release date for the Old World!

Before we jump into the rumors, remember that these are 100% rumors! So take them with as much salt as you need. While they seem to come from a reputable source, nothing is confirmed until it comes from GW.

Let’s jump into the rumors.

RUMORS: New Miniature Release Schedule for 40k, AoS, & Warhammer Old World!

The new  Miniature Release Schedule for 40k, AoS, & Warhammer Old World comes from Valrak .

New Miniature Release Schedule for 40kSo, the source seems decent according to Valrak, and is supposedly inside Horus Hersesy discord server.

Starting with the Warhammer 40k stuff, it would make sense for more DKoKkits. Generally, GW doesn’t like to make a single kit for an army (currently just the Kill Tam box), so we expect to see more. It would also make sense GW prepped the infantry first, and the next Guard codex will be released with a ton of new Kreig kits.

We really don’t know about the molds, but they have been producing Kreig models for a long time overall so it could make sense… maybe.

warhammer-legends-space-marines-2023-40k-10thNext up, we have also seen the Firstborn repeatedly getting phased out, as many of the models have hit the last chance-to-buy list. So, nothing too crazy here, but we’ll have to see if they scale up some of the kits or if they will be for Horus Heresy.

Lastly, Emperor’s Children are the last of the major 40k Chaos factions not to have a dedicated army. We’ve heard rumors for years about them coming to life in plastic, so again, these are not too far off base here as far as a rumor goes.

Age of Sigmar & Old World Release Date & Schedule Rumors

New Miniature Release Schedule for 40k 2We were hoping Old World would come out later this year, but there is a lot to come out for 40k, and Legions Imperialis hasn’t even come out yet, meaning next year could very well be possible for the release date. AoS could also be a bit behind schedule, as Games Workshop extended the General’s Handbook to a full year instead of six months.

This would be interesting if AoS had a new edition and Old World launched near the same time. We’ll have to wait and see on that one.
