So are these real or are they kitbashes? Checkout what appears to be a new Necron Lord and Warriors from Shield of Baal: Exterminatus.

The New Kits:


That sure looks to me like a new Necron Lord and a new updated Necron Warriors kit.  All are on new bases and I think we can say goodbye to the clear plastic rods… which looks to be the same kit as the minis below.

But at the same time there is an article in the latest White Dwarf about how to make those barrels. So it hard to say with any certainty what this picture is showing for sure.

The Shield of Baal Picture:

Then we have the Necrons in this new Black Library picture, several Lychguard on the new 32mm base up top and the unusual weapon on the Warrior on the extreme lower left, hinting at a refresh of the Warrior boxed set.

So the question is,  are Necrons getting the no new model treatment and these are kit-bashes, or will we see some new love for the evil robots? -MBG
