There are a lot of factions getting love this year.  Here’s the latest on the Craftworld Eldar and what is under development:

Eldar will receive new miniatures releases this year, but probably not a new codex.
Eldar will be part of one of the year’s two 40K campaign sets.

Miniatures listed are:

1 Small Vehicle box (chatter says a Jetbike based unit)
2 5-model infantry boxes (2 more Aspects move to plastic)
2 Clampack models (chatter points to 2 updated plastic Phoenix Lords)

According to BoLS, these rumors are rated: Probable, coming from trusted known sources.

We saw an interesting thing with the Harlequin holofield’s rules being different than the Craftworld codex one, but having the same fluff text. Seems like an update is already in the works.  I can see the aspects being updated first as they are the largest subset of miniatures still in all in Finecast.

Good news for Eldar players if these releases turn out to be true.

Upcoming Miniatures Roundup

~So what Aspects do you think we’ll see first? My money’s on a Fire Dragon/ Scorpion box, and Warp Spiders!
