Depending on who you ask, there has never been a more EXCITING time for the hobby, OR Games Workshop has never been in a worse position as a company.

Between the Tau release, and the upcoming Horus Heresy hybrid product launch, Games Workshop seems to be hitting all the right marks going into their mid-year earnings report.

Then their new CEO Kevin Roundtree dropped this letter on us, and our whole gaming world changed:

Now we have even more to look forward to with the return of Specialist Games, and the new Global Business Development head and the creation of a new studio inside of this new umbrella.

Whatever happens the new CEO looks to be making some great moves as of late.

It’s even rumored that his hobby vault rivals the Solemnance Galleries, containing rulebooks filled with lore from editions long past, ancient packs of black-bordered Magic Cards, and models made of both pewter and resin.
