Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team $65
Brutal close-quarters combat in the 41st Millennium
The Game
No strength in numbers. No margin for error. Pure, fast-paced combat where tactics matter more than brute strength, and every action matters. A single shot can spell the difference between life and death, and a single decision can decide whether a battle ends in glorious victory or dismal defeat: this is Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team.
A whole new way to play games with your Warhammer 40,000 miniatures, this standalone two-player game puts you in charge of small bands of warriors, and gives you one objective – win, or die.

Grombrindal, The White Dwarf $20
Description
Grombrindal – The White Dwarf himself, namesake of the Ultimate Warhammer Magazine – comes to the Mortal Realms! Some say Grombrindal is the living incarnation of Snorri Longbeard himself; others that he was betrothed to the goddess Valaya. None truly know the origins of this most ancient and venerable of the Duardin race, but you can get your hands on him right now.
Grombrindal, The White Dwarf presents the Dispossessed Unforged miniature in exclusive Grombrindal packaging, available in this format for a limited time only. Full rules for using Grombrindal, The White Dwarf in both Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Quest Silver Tower can be found exclusively in September’s issue of White Dwarf!
To celebrate the return of Kill Team, Games Workshop has put together some handy bundles/example Kill Team Forces. Each Kill Team also comes with it’s own datasheet – check the description for a link to the PDFs!
Corruptio Malum – Luke’s Kill Team $137
Why did you choose this Kill Team?
I came up with a backstory that a small forward force of Adeptus Mechanicus sent deep into the furthest reaches of the galaxy would serve as a repair station for all of the Emperor’s finest, but far enough away from any danger so as no tot be under attack themselves.
As fate should have it no wars occurred near them and thus the way point became useless. Instead of being recalled the decision was made to simply abandon them without communication. Over the next few centuries, forgotten by all but the warp, they had to repair themselves and upgrade themselves for survival from whatever they could find. After excavating the area they found several odd artifacts and began to worship the new totems, not knowing these were relics of dark powers.
Snagrod’s Burna Boyz – John’s Kill Team $124.50
Why did you choose this Kill Team?
I was inspired to build this Kill Team by a segment in Codex: Orks which describes the legendary warboss “Arch-Arsonist Snagrod” of the Bad Moon clan. I pictured a warband of Burna-Boyz riding around in flame-yellow Trukks, looting and setting fire to everything in sight.
Pariah Conflux – Simon’s Kill Team $92
Why did you choose this Kill Team?
I’ve wanted to add some Necron Flayed Ones to my collection for some time now. The idea of such calculated killers being driven by an unquenchable need to consume blood is as unsettling as it is fascinating. Feared and reviled in equal measure by the pitiless Necron rulers, they are the ultimate realisation of their hubris. This made it thematically tricky to find a unit to partner them with, but I was struck with the idea of them being loyally defended by Canoptek Wraiths – programmed to defend them but unaware of their pariah status.
Strike Pack Alphic – Josh’s Kill Team $83
Why did you choose this Kill Team?
I instantly knew that a perfect kill team would be the Militarum Tempestus. Their background as elite soldiers of the Imperium capable of unleashing deadly firepower with lethal accuracy makes for a perfect kill team. And after reading through their codex, the story of the 54th Psian Jakals sold them to me.
The Red Death of Dûriel – Stu’s Kill Team $66
Why did you choose this Kill Team?
For me Kill Team is an excellent opportunity to collect some miniatures not usually found in my collection and create some great background for them. And this is exactly what my Kill Team is about.
The Red Death of Dûriel is a roaming troupe of Harlequins whose task it is to tell the tale of the fall of Valedor. Each has their part play in this tragic story and it is the role of Shadowseer Menahina Ylsa to lead them in their ballad.
As for the players themselves each embodies a major contributor in the conflict that lead to the destruction of Valedor.
40k Skirmish is making a comeback, affectionately called Lunch-hammer because of it’s quick play time, where and when will you play it!
