How To Get Your Bombers Moving In Star Wars Armada

All bombers, follow my lead! I’ll guide you through the best way to get your sluggish bombers moving faster where they need to go!

For the Empire, nothing sends fear into the hearts of Admirals like the Rebel B-Wing. But its lethargic speed of 2 can pose problems for novice Rebel fleet commanders. Check out this cool new way to crank the throttle up for your killa B’s!

The new Pelta class Command ship is a perfect carrier for a fleet of bombers. The Fleet Support upgrade allows for a new twist on boosting those bombers. All Fighters, Follow Me! is an excellent upgrade when activating squadrons. Whenever a friendly ship activates squadrons, each one is boosted 1 speed to a max of 5. All you have to do is spend a squadron token to get this up and running.

So far we are able to get our B-Wings up to speed 3. Not bad for a bomber, but let’s not stop there. Fighter Coordination Team is a secret tech card that helps boost your squads even further. After executing a maneuver, you may move friendly squadrons up to your squadron value distance 1. This effectively makes your B-Wings speed 4! That’s quite a reach for one of the most powerful bombing squadrons out there.

Since you can equip the Phoenix Home, add 2 officers to taste to your carrier ship. Toryn Farr and Flight Commander seem perfect.

Toryn Farr let’s your bombers accuracy hit the hard points on Imperial Star Destroyers, and FLight Commander let’s you activate squadrons after you move. A nice fit for the slow Pelta class ship.

That’s all we have for now. Rebel bombers hit hard but can be slow to make it to their objective. Give them a friendly boost with upgrades and officer support to really make them sing!
