Games Workshop came out firing from the hip at the first night of Adepticon. Come take a look at the latest game play of Shadespire!
GW had their preview event at Adepticon, afterwards they let everyone preview the new game Warhammer Underworlds: Shadesprie. Check out the pictures from the latest preview.
The board is resembling the Gorechosen stand alone game with the hexagon style spaces. But the rules, dice, and unit cards are not like anything we’ve seen before. It will be Warhammer Quest and Age of Sigmar compatible. But you will not be able to bring Age of Sigmar or 40k models into the Mirror Realm. Each model will carry the hero title.
Adepticon is just starting off and Games Workshop was the first to release the hounds on new releases. There is going to be much more to come, so be sure to keep an eye out for the latest updates, we’ll be bringing them to you all weekend!
Warhammer Underworlds is a new tactical arena combat game on its way later this year. This is a system designed for balanced, small-scale tactical games, that can be played quickly and easily by anyone, but which even experienced players will find challenging to master. The game rules are designed with competitive play in mind; matches can be played in under 45 minutes, on a smaller surface than our larger-scale games, and will be ideal for club or tournament play. And not only that, we’ll be fully supporting an organised play system for this game, right from day one.
Checkout Adepticon’s website for the full even line-up list, as we’ll try to cover as much as we can! Checkout the links below for our last eight years of covering the event from the hobby trenches, it’s been a blast.
