Did May’s White Dwarf just drop clues to 8th Edition’s release? The new White Dwarf is starting to make it into the hands of a lucky few, come check it out.
The Dark Artisan received his copy in the mail much earlier than most, and he was kind enough to record a video showing every page in the new issue. But one thing that caught our eye was that next month’s issue wouldn’t be on sale until June 16th... T

With a release date of June 16th next month does this mean that 8th edition will be released the first two weeks in June like the rumormongers keep saying? This is definitely raising some flags on why the magazine itself will not be released at the beginning of the month like normal. They didn’t mention anything about the release of 8th in May’s White Dwarf which may be disappointing to some, but they’re still giving us plenty of clues for us to try to figure it out judging by this teaser image:
We still have the key dates for May and June:
- May 6th & 20th. White Dwarf 40th Anniversary & ???
- June 3rd, 10th, & 17th. With 3 key dates in June this may just be the release of 8th Edition. What fresh hell awaits us?
