Fantasy Flight Games has announced a new set of booster packs for Star Wars Destiny: Empire At War. What chaos can we expect?
With this 160 card set, Fantasy Flight Games is taking the core concepts of Star Wars: Destiny and throwing them into disarray. The sets contains themes that will disrupt your enemies and thwart best laid plans. Empire at War brings Rebels to the tabletop and you join the crew of the Ghost and their enemies for epic fights across every era of Star Wars.
Thrawn is a master strategist and a great asset to the Empire. His die features 2 focus symbols, a disrupt, shield, and resource symbols. His ability causes chaos by naming a number and having the enemy discard the card that costs that amount. He can be paired with Kylo Ren for consistent views of the enemy’s hand.
Ezra Bridger is a hero and a crew member of the Ghost. At 7 points for normal and 10 for the elite version, Ezra is one of the most affordable heroes in the game. He is force sensitive so he can use blue upgrades. His ability allows him to take a resource from an opponent. The rest of his die includes a resource, disrupt, ranged attack, and a modified ranged damage. With 7 health, new Yellow cards, such as Quick Escape, will help him survive duels.
Mace Windu is in this set and at 16 points for normal or 22 points for an elite version, he is one of the most powerful Blue characters in the game. 3 die sides show melee damage, one of which deals four damage. This makes him a danger to any opponent. When an opponent is near defeat, his ability can remove a die to defeat a character with 2 or less health. Everything comes together with the Master of Council upgrade that allows him to ready at the cost of 2 resource.

Every booster pack includes five randomized cards and one premium die, broken down into three common cards, one uncommon card, and one rare or legendary card with a corresponding die. All cards that feature a corresponding die are either rare or legendary cards. With every booster pack, you’ll find new characters, supports, upgrades, or events, along with new ways to enter the Star Wars galaxy and fight for your chosen side!
