hor of space marine and chaos

There’s a lot of new stuff coming out over the next couple month from GW. From Primaris to AoS and even Death Guard come find out what may be next.

We’re another week into the new releases for Space Marines, but there’s still some things we haven’t seen yet, as well as other things that have been talked about but no release dates provided. Well, here’s our ideas  on what will drop, and when based on previous releases cycles.

calendar

But let’s start with the current wave of releases for the Space Marines that will be on pre order June 22nd.

  • Space Marines Primaris Aggressors $50
  • Space Marines Primaris Reivers $60
  • Space Marines Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought $65
  • Datacards: Space Marines $15
  • Warhammer 40,000 Astartes Dice $20
  • Space Marine Codex $50

So what’s next for August? Could be more Space Marines!

We know there are more Space Marine releases out there, as we have seen five out of these seven items teased already:

  • Repulsor Tank
  • Apothecary
  • Chaplain
  • Inceptor Multi-part Squad (plasma options teasers spotted)
  • Hellblaster Multi-part Squad (teaser pics spotted)
  • Interceptor Multi-part Squad (no known images yet)
  • Overlord Flyer* (no known images yet)

Of course the Overlord Flyer has only been rumored in fluff* but it could very well be the second plastic model option for transporting Primaris Space Marines.

Most likely, these will be the vanguard of a two to three week release cycle, with pre-orders starting on the 29th of July, and releasing starting on the 5th of August.

plasma inceptor

My personal gut feeling is the Inceptor Multi-part Kit and Overlord flyer will be their own week’s release.

Next up could be a stopgap release of the new General’s Handbook for Age of Sigmar. This has been a much anticipated release among the AoS fans, and the time surely is nigh for with the Path to Glory book already hitting the shelves his week.

The release of the General’s Handbook should take us right into the release of the new Death Guard models, and Codex If our hunch is right, that’ll put us right at a Labor Day release window.

But once again, this is all speculation and educated guesses bases on personal observations of the last 17 years of retail cycles by Games Workshop.
The chances of this being the actual release schedule are pretty good, but nothing is set in stone.  What are your thoughts? Does this fit in with what you were thinking? Let us know in the comments below.
