Nuclear Shrimp Games is revving up a new Kickstarter that will include resin cast vehicles and supporting troops. Come take a look!
Nuclear Shrimp Games, formerly known as The Titan Manufactorum, is planning on a Kickstarter that is slated to begin in 4th quarter 2017. Their campaign will focus on resin cast vehicles and supporting troops for 28, 15, and 6mm scale. These miniatures will be part of their Black Earth ruleset, which will also be upgraded to its 2nd Edition alongside the release of these Kickstarter miniatures.
The campaign will initially feature 1 vehicle for each of the 3 Black Earth factions. We have a preview of the Bulldog Main Battle Tank and its variants for the United Earth Federation Army.
Bulldog Main Battle Tanks and Variants
The Bulldog is ideal in supporting an infantry force that delves in the dangerous battlegrounds of the decimated cityscapes of the 21st century. A multitude of sensors, grenade launchers, smoke launchers, countermeasures, automated autocannon turrets and limited med evac capabilities allow the Bulldog to be a bastion around which an entire task force can regroup.
The vehicles for the other two factions, the Tecton Order and the Brutes, have already been previewed. Their models are below.
Tecton Order IFV
The Tecton Order relies on the industries owned by its prominent members for all of their military technology. This means that although they dont have access to the latest UEF military technology, they have exclussive access to some very advanced pieces of gear. Once such example is the Minotaur Armored Fighting Vehicle.
Designed and developed by Lang & Schroeder Defence Industries, the Minotaur provides a versatile chassis that can easily be adapted to any combat role. At the moment the most common models in use are the Minotaur APC and the Minotaur IFV which are both manned by a crew of two.The Minotaur APC is a wheeled all terrain vehicle armed with a 7.62 mm smart machine gun. Its purpose is limited to fast personnel transportation and evacuation in combat zones.
The Minotaur IFV is a tracked heavier variant that sports a remote controlled turret armed with a 105mm gun. The transport capacity of the IFV is limited but unlike the APC, it is designed to accompany its charge in battle and provide fire support. With its substantial armament coupled with its speed it can even threaten heavy battle tanks.
Brute Monster Truck
The Brute Monster Truck is going to come in 2 variants. A gun wagon sporting an enclosed gun turret and a raiding platform used by Brutes to drop onto their foes and savage them to death using good ol’ powertools!
