The talk of the streets and taverns has all been about the so-called death curse: a wasting disease afflicting everyone who’s ever been raised from the dead. Victims grow thinner and weaker each day, slowly but steadily sliding toward the death they once denied.
When they finally succumb, they can’t be raised–and neither can anyone else, regardless of whether they’ve ever received that miracle in the past. Temples and scholars of divine magic are at a loss to explain a curse that has affected the entire region, and possibly the entire world.
The cause is a necromantic artifact called the Soulmonger, which is located somewhere in Chult, a mysterious peninsula far to the south, ringed with mountains and choked with rain forests.

The vinyl is perfect to mark with Wet-Erase markers and easily cleaned up after use. With the vinyl, though, Dry-Erase markers and permanent markers will stain permanently, be aware! The set comes with four different maps: large Chult map, small Chult map, Omu, Port Nyuanzaru,

The large map of Chult is 18″ x 24″, and has blank grids in the center for discovery and customization. The smaller map of Chult, measuring 12″x16″, gives full details of what can be found within the land. Omu, the Forbidden City, and Port Nyanzaru are both small sized maps, 12″x16″. These two locations have greatly detailed layouts of the cities, buildings, roads and paths, giving a great immersion into the game and ways to explore the new lands of Chult.

These vinyl maps come with polycarbonate tubes for storage and transportation. The set is currently for preorder and set to come out in late November. For more information, as well as some other great gaming tools, check out Gale Force Nine’s website.
