Here’s the 2026 Marvel Crisis Protocol roadmap from AMG, showcasing the new release schedule and previews from Minstravaganza and Adepticon.
Early 2026 is loaded with fresh character packs and affiliation boxes, while late 2026 is shaping up around bigger teases like Onslaught and more themed releases like Dark Dimension terrain and more.

That makes the current MCP roadmap less about random previews and more about strategic planning.
So, you can start mapping out what to grab now, what to save hobby budget for later, and which Marvel Crisis Protocol upcoming releases actually matter for the teams you already play.
Marvel Crisis Protocol Roadmap & Previews
Updated March 31st, 2026, by Rob Baer, with the latest MCP pre-orders and roadmaps from AdeptiCon, Ministravaganza, and GenCon.
At this point, the new Marvel Crisis Protocol release schedule stretches well into 2026, and AMG has already shown enough for players to start sorting the must-buys from the “wait and see” boxes.

Not only did Crisis Protocol get a huge roadmap, but AMG also lined up a massive restock wave that covers a huge chunk of the line. If you have been hunting older characters to round out an affiliation. So this is one of those times when the roadmap matters just as much for returning stock as it does for brand-new kits.
2026 Ministravaganza, AdeptiCon MCP Previews & Reveals
Atomic Mass Games came out of Ministravaganza with a pretty clear early-2026 plan. These first new character packs are not just random comic book pulls; they look like targeted support for players building around Avengers-adjacent rosters, cosmic teams, and the growing list of splashable bruisers and utility pieces.

- Red Hulk, The Leader, and Sensational She-Hulk look like a strong pick for players who want another big, aggressive package that can branch into multiple affiliations instead of living in one narrow lane.
- Havok, Multiple Man, Jubilee, and Dani Moonstar are another easy win for mutant players. These are the kinds of characters that flesh out X-rosters in a way longtime players actually notice, because they can fill gaps between your big-name centerpieces and your scenario pieces instead of just adding another shelf display model.
- Bastion, Nimrod, and Omega Sentinel from Dawn of X are cool because giant mutant-hunting robots with built-in theme, instant shelf presence, and obvious roster appeal are exactly the sort of pieces that get players excited to put Sentinels on the table and start smashing through games.
That is really what makes this wave of releases interesting. A lot of these boxes look useful even if you’re not collecting a single pure affiliation, which usually means they have better long-term hobby value than a release that only fits one very specific list.
New Affiliations
Add some Gamma-Powered punch to your roster with this upcoming release, which also brings two new affiliation options to Marvel: Crisis Protocol in 2026.

New Starter Sets Hitting in Q2 of 2026

The first is a huge Asgardians set, with a Guardians of the Galaxy starter coming in right behind it. Between the minis, tokens, and cards, both boxes look ready to get an entire force rolling straight out of the gate.
Sentinel Updates & Operation Zero Tolerance Crisis Card Pack
AMG is also going back to the Sentinel side of the game with rules updates, new models, and the Operation Zero Tolerance Crisis Card Pack. For anyone trying to plan specific purchases instead of grabbing everything at once, this is one of the more focused parts of the roadmap.
- What it is: A Sentinel refresh backed by Bastion, Nimrod, Omega Sentinel, and a campaign-style Crisis Card pack built around the Zero Tolerance story.
- Who wants it: Existing Sentinel players first, but also X-Men and mutant collectors who like narrative play or want the opposing side of that matchup on the shelf.
- Why it matters: This is the kind of release cluster that is easy to budget for because the models and the card pack clearly pair together, rather than feeling like separate purchases fighting for hobby dollars.

Rules Changes Hitting in June 2026

Character Packs Coming Late 2026

- Onslaught
- Blackheart
- America Chavez
- Hulkling, Wiccan, and Speed in a Young Avengers-style trio pack
- Avengers Brains & Brawn Character Pack
- Criminal Underworld Character Pack
- More bundled character packs following the same general format as the early-year releases
So far, that’s all the new characters AMG has put out there, but it’s more than enough to plan your hobby spending around. Early 2026 looks to be more immediate and roster-building focused, while late 2026 feels like the part of the roadmap where AMG starts dropping bigger model kits and theme-driven boxes.
Dark Dimension Terrain Packs
No new minis are complete without something dramatic to throw them through, and AMG has that covered, too. The Dark Dimension terrain kits promise eerie skyscrapers, warped gateways, and plenty of weird cosmic clutter for your battles. Perfect for smashing, leaping, or hurling Iron Monger straight through.
Expect these terrain sets to hit sometime in 2026, right alongside all the new character packs. B
Marvel Crisis Protocol Release Schedule
If you’re planning any upcoming MCP purchases, treat this release schedule as both a standard store restock and a “pick one or two things that match my playstyle” list. With a lot of reissue expansions popping up in larger bundles, this roadmap helps you avoid buying everything and only using half of it once.
2026 Marvel Crisis Protocol Roadmap Pre-Orders
Where to preorder new MCP: The easiest place to start is Asmodee. Everything on their Pre-Orders page is already live. It keeps it straightforward: lock in what you actually want now, and skip the “will this be in stock on release week?” roulette.
AMG’s also been pretty consistent lately with new drops and refreshed kits, so MCP isn’t one of those lines that goes without releases for months and then suddenly dumps a mountain of info out of nowhere.
Between reissues, updated cards/packaging, and new waves landing on a fairly regular basis, it’s worth checking back often, especially if you’re building out a collection or trying to stay current with your faction.

Final Thoughts From Us: 2026 Marvel Crisis Protocol Roadmap
For newer players, the smartest buys still look like the affiliation packs and the more self-contained roster builders, especially X-Force, Xavier’s Students, and Inhumans. For veteran players, the better play may be waiting on the weirder late-2026 teases, the Sentinel refresh, and whichever splash characters end up doing the most work across multiple teams.
The biggest shake-up here is probably how much AMG seems to be leaning into bundled releases that actually help you build a roster instead of just tossing out isolated characters one at a time. That’s better for collection planning, better for new players, and honestly, a lot easier on the hobby budget.
If you’re trying to prioritize, buy what fills an affiliation you already own, grab the new release boxes that clearly deepen existing teams, and keep some powder dry for the late-2026 reveals once AMG puts real dates on them.
