New pictures of the Nighthaunts jaw-dropping new Black Coach have been spotted as it was on display for Day 2 of Warhammer Fest 2018.
The original Black Coach made it’s debut in the late 1990’s and was an almost instant fan favorite for the then Warhammer Fantasy Vampire Counts. While there has been no official word that the model seen in the Nighthaunts preview video is indeed the infamous Black Coach, the simiarliries are remarkable:
1990’s Black Coach
Black Coaches are the result of a Soulblight vampire seeking entrance into the nether kingdoms. Turned away from the underworld’s gates, the creature’s spirit is returned to the lands of the living caged inside its coffin. Driven by the fury of the vampire’s spirit, the coach clatters across the battlefield, growing stronger as it harvests souls.
Age of Sigmar Nighthaunts Preview:
Games Workshop just put the “Black Coach” and a slew of Nighthaunts on display at Warhammer Fest today, and they seem to be even more striking than in the video preview.
These images were spotted on Garro’s Facebook who traditionally covers mostly 40k and Horus Heresy, and he captured every angle of the new model perfectly.
Plus there was a host of painted Nighthaunts on hand as well to escort this warmachine into battle:
Now may be a great time to start an Undead army as the new edition looms next month and the new paints look to make it easier than ever to keep your hobby muscles strong!
