There’s a skull on this week’s rumor engine and it looks like it’s strapped to a staff. We need a shaman to weigh in on this one.
Warhammer Community released the rumor engine bit this morning and there might be some Voodoo on the way to Warhammer. There’s definitely a skull of maybe some kind of bird and it’s secured with leather strips to something that we can only guess is a staff. Check out the bit for yourself.

We Need a Shaman: New Rumor Engine
See what we are talking about? It looks just like a bird head slapped onto a staff or maybe some kind of totem. Could this be part of a new wizard model coming to AoS? Are we heading in the wrong direction entirely? This is a bit far-fetched, but could it be part of a primitive tribe in 40k? We aren’t going to shoot any ideas down for what this bit could be.
It looks vaguely similar to Witch Doctor’s Staff o’ Wicked Badness from Dota 2.
At the end of the day, it’s more likely for the bit to be something from AoS and with most of the focus being on the new edition, there’s a strong possibility it could be a part of a new model coming sometime down the road. Could it even be part of a brand new faction?
