We’re back again today with rumors of two Daemon Primarchs returning into the 40k scene. But which Daemon Primarch, if any, will it be first?
The rumor was originally on a forum at The Grand Alliance by the user LLV. We don’t know where he heard that bit of information from but LLV has apparently been spot on with certain things in the past. So what’s the rumor?
Grot-tember, Ork-tober, rogue-vember, angron-cember…..
RUMOR: More Daemon Primarchs On The Way For 40k!
More specifically, Angron. Supposedly, Angron should be making a splash into the 40k scene sometime in December.
Someone asked LLV what kind of release Angron will get in December.
Q: do you know if Khorne is getting much else with Angron in December? Or is it only a small release?
A: I heard angryron will be bringing some crazy fellas with chain axes and some puppies with him
It would make sense for GW to pack a Daemon Primarch along with some of Khorne’s staple units into one release during the holidays. People have cash and they’re ready to spend it around that time. There are a few things to be skeptical over, however.
We haven’t really seen any rumor engine bits that looks “Khorney”. On top of that, it seems like there hasn’t been a whole lot of lore advancement in 40k pertaining to Angron. There was a blurb in the main book where some cultists tried summoning him and they were about half-way through the process before being stomped out by the Imperium.
We’ve also been hearing rumors about Fulgrim.
Fulgrim Returning in the Holidays?
Fulgrim has been the spotlight of rumors lately as well. Supposedly his model is already finished and they did testing of his model on Morathi in AoS.
See the resemblance of the snake-body and wings? But wait, there’s a lot more. We’ve got some Rumor Engine bits we’ve seen in the past that may point towards a Slaaneshi figure.
Slaanesh doesn’t skimp on elegance. This could be the top of the Headdress that Fulgrim is wearing in his ascended state. The horns and a big gem in the center just give the Slaanesh vibe.
This Rumor bit is still hot off the press and when you compare it to Fulgrim’s lower torso in the art above, you can see some striking resemblances.
Lastly, the markings on these scales wouldn’t be something to put past Slaanesh. The actual body part in the bit must be the end of a long tail because of how thin it really is.
As for lore advancement, it sounds like Fulgrim left his pleasure world to go deal with some Imperial Guard.
So who could be showing up first? As we come close to the holiday season, it’s a matter of sitting back and watching. GWs schedule has been hectic as they’ve been spewing out new releases. Who knows if they’ll switch the release dates of both of these Primarchs around.
What do you think about these rumors? Who will be the first to hit the shelves? Which Daemon Primarch are you hoping to see? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
