The King of Ruin is the most ambitious model by Creature Caster so far. This Nurgle-inspired beast is large and in charge, looking absolutely fantastic. Take a look at this fantastic model and be sure to watch the entire review video below!
King of Ruin $119 USD
The demonic Kings are the most powerful representatives of their factions. The Kings of Ruin represent all things that have fallen into decay, disgrace and despair. Trapped in an cycle of despondency, they share a common belief: all of life is futile and meaninglessness. The only truth is suffering, and the acceptance of this is both peace, and release. They find camaraderie in their misery, and a strange satisfaction when visiting pain and horror unto others.
The King of Ruin is a large resin model, measuring 14.3cm tall. He comes with a 100mm round scenic base. He also comes with a great counter to keep track of hit points that can easily be magnetized. He does come unassembled with options for arms, weapons, and heads. The detail on the model is fantastic, with great armor sculpted around his massive gut. The base is large and has tons of maggots and skulls writhing about.
Fully posed, this model is absolutely impressive. All the detail comes together, with intestines falling out and different skull features along the armor. The spikes and antlers even have accessories attached. All the trim looks amazing, making the model look impressive and creepy at the same time. The profile does make him look large and in charge.
He is definitely bigger than the Forge World Great Unclean One, showing this model to be the true King of Ruin. He is similar in size to the King of War, though the King of War’s wings cause him to tower over Ruin.
