Have you ever wondered what we recommend for everything you’ll need in your hobby adventure? Check out our quick list of the top products out there.

If you’re just getting into the hobby or maybe looking for something better than what you already have, check out our top 5 list for the most useful hobby products out there.

1. Citadel Fine Detail Cutters $33

You might think that $33 dollars is way too much to spend on something for snipping plastic, but these cutters are ABSOLUTELY worth it. They’ll last you for a very long time. They cut crisply and don’t bunch the plastic together before it actually clips off.

Just never cut metal with these, or you will damage the blades.

2. Jentastic’s Drunken Brush Goop! 2 oz $8.99 (Slowfuse Gaming)

Jentastic Drunken Brush Goop

Do you have those great brushes you used to love, but they sat neglected, and you can’t bring yourself to throw them away? Jentastic’s Drunken Brush Goop is one of the best brush cleaners we’ve come across. It seems like there’s no job too tough to match the power of this brush cleaner.

With a little patience, it can bring back even the most neglected of brushes.

3. Citadel Painting Handle $8

The days of cork and sticky tack are numbered since the new hobby handle came around. This amazing design is perfect for giving you a good grip on your models without having to worry about where to hold the mini. It fits comfortably in your hand, provides more stability while you’re painting, and fits bases up to 40mm.

Do yourself a favor; avoid cramps from holding small corks, spend the $8, and pick one of these up for yourself.

4. An Old Toothbrush Free

Grab one of your old toothbrushes that you just haven’t thrown away yet and use it to clean your models. If you begin to dabble in the world of resin, we STRONGLY recommend that you wash the bits with dish soap and water before you do anything with them.

There’s a separating chemical on the bits that can mess up the primer and paint if you aren’t careful. It’s just much better to get it off. Whatever you do, don’t go out and buy a new toothbrush just for that. If nothing else, treat yourself to a new brush and use the old one for this special mission.

5. Citadel Mouldline Remover $17.50

Mold Line Remover

This amazing little tool will make you rethink your favorite razor blade when it comes down cleaning up mold lines. The best part is… no more accidental finger slices or cutting too deep into your mini. This tool fits comfortably in your hand and makes it a lot easier to make silky smooth finishes of those annoying mold lines.

You’ll end up saving more money in the long run by picking one of these up and saying goodbye to razor blades that go dull too fast.
