Ready for another amazing Warhammer video short? Check out their latest Death of Hope trailer set in the 30k’s Horus Heresy timeline!
Death of Hope tells the events that happen as the Ultramarines (And other Legions) find out that their brothers have turned to Chaos.
If you missed the first trailer, don’t worry. We’ve got everything right here for you, and don’t forget- these films are 100% fanmade by Mark Louis Spark.
Death of Hope Trailer #1
The World Eaters, and Bearers have shown up full force in Death of Hope, and they even brought some Gal Vorbak with them. But will that be enough to with this fight against the Ultramarines?
Death is prevalent throughout the trailer. Civilians and soldiers both slain in the streets at the mercy of the unexpected Chaos invasion.
Who needs two arms? This was an epic display of dedication to the fight. Charging in with the look of pure Chaos, losing an arm, getting shot three more times, and it barely slows him down. The Ultramarines might want to bring as much reinforcements as they can.
The first trailer has a very “Dropsite Massacre” feel to it as the Ultramarines defend an Imperial city from burning to Chaos. Now, we can take a look at the latest trailer to emerge!
Death of Hope Trailer #2
Since the trailer last year, I’ve started again from scratch to really represent the universe in the way I grew up seeing it with the combination of the current Horus Heresy novels. More information in January :).
In the video, it looks like Ultramarines have boarded a Word Bearers ship investigating some kind of damage. (Remember that the Word Bearers also attacked the Imperial City in the first trailer but that could have been after the events in this video)
After some time of talking, the Ultramarine realizes what’s going on and is just about to draw his pistol when he realizes it’s too late.
He realizes he’s been set up and is sacrificed, beheaded, and chained up in the halls of the ship. (Very Word Bearery if you ask us).
What kind of events are about to unfold next in the storyline? The Word Bearers look like they’ve silenced all witnesses to their actions.
Could they be just about to assault another innocent Imperial City? Let us know what you think in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
