A Crude Whip: New GW Rumor Engine Appears!

gw store rumor engine

Games Workshop dropped another rumor engine and we really don’t have a solid clue of what it could be. Let’s think outside the box for this teaser…

Keeping up with the normal pattern of things, Games Workshop revealed another rumor engine bit to have us scratch our heads at what new minis are on the way.

If you haven’t seen the previous rumor engine, make sure you toss in your guess. You could be right!

A Crude Whip

Disclaimer: We’re not 100% sure that this is even a whip…And Truth be told, it’s more like a Cat O’ Nine Tails.

Maybe this is the weapon to some kind of new Slaanesh model on the way? The only thing that doesn’t fit the “Slaanesh bill” is that it isn’t nearly elegant enough. And the design is more like rebar than braided leather…So could this be part of some sort of machinery?

rebar

Like we said above, there’s an almost identical match in the groove pattern between the bit and a rebar rod.

Genestealer Cult Aberrants are all about using crude weaponry that they can find… Could this be a new weapon option coming to the unit that’ll be out by the time the codex drops? (Imagine getting whipped by three steel rebar rods).

Ultimately, this is a brand new bit and there’s a long list of rumor engine’s that are ahead of this one. We know GW doesn’t always reveal them in order so it IS a strong possibility we could be seeing this model real soon. Only time will tell.

What do you think about this rumor engine? What faction could it go to? Do you have any idea what we’re looking at? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
