Warhammer Community and Games Workshop have been hard at work bringing Adeptus Titanicus up-to-speed with books, rules, weapon options, and more.
With that said, check out their latest release wave with some new exclusive pics from the event via Sablednah.
Official Titanicus Previews: Weapon Options For old Titans
Reavers are getting new top-mounted weaponry like the massive building-leveling missile and a dual Gatling bolter.
On top of that, the Questoris-class Knights are getting their own missile pods. This is a nifty little splash of shield-popping dakka that should make them more relevant.
The Acastus-Class Knight & Its Stats
Finally, we have the long-anticipated Acastus-class Titan, the Porphyrion! It looks like it’s going to be one scale-point smaller than the Warhound and slightly slower…

While the picture is blurry, we can spot a few weapon options and details like:
- Twin Magna Lascannon (S8. Blast).
- Missile Pod (9 dice, barrage).
- Twin C-Beam Cannon (4 dice, S9. 3″ Blast short range, 5″ Blast long range).
- Some kind of mortar battery (9 dice, barrage).
- Twin Lascannon (2 dice strength 6).
Keep in mind, we are doing a bit of guess-work on these weapons as they are difficult to read completely.
Warhound Titan
- As far as things go, it looks like the Warhound is a slightly bigger scale than the Acastus.
- The Acastus is also a bit slower at only 7″ vs. the Warhound’s 8″.
- It also has slightly worse ballistic/weapon skill than the Warhound (Acastus= 4+ BS and 5+ WS).
With all these being said, it has a whole host of weapon options completely unavailable to the Warhound and looks to be a lot cheaper. The Acastus sits at 80 pts + weapons and the Warhound sits at 180 pts + weapons.

While the Acasuts-class data card showed a handful of different weapon options, we can only see two main cannons on the sprue here. Surely the rest of the options are on the recently unveiled 40k scale Asterion. Perhaps we’ll see out first dual 40k, and Titanicus model release in the near future.
The Warhound Titan was absent from the display to keep us guessing on how close the scaling would be. All in all, we think that the Acastus Porphyrion and Warhound are going to share an 80mm base and be almost indistinguishable at this point which one is bigger.
You can see the Acastus Porphyrion with its rocket pods as well as the Questoris-class Knight with the new rocket upgrades in the back left.
It also appears that the Porphyrion can be modeled with its Rockets out, and recessed inside the armor too.
New Terrain Pieces to Scatter on the Boards
Finally, more terrain features were previewed to fill up your boards with Titanic emersion. Keep your eyes peeled for these scenic options to hit the shelves. With a selection of silos, generators, and other dark-technological bits to scatter on your battlefields, your games will be looking better and better!
