Don’t miss the latest on what may be the very first plastic Sister of Battle model, and coming to Warhammer stores as a new Exclusive miniature!
It’s no surprise that GW has been working on Sisters of Battle behind the scenes since 2018. They’ve been showing us their work s in progress ranging from Rhinos all the way to new models poses and weapons (all in plastic we might add!) But there was one model in particular previewed back from Adepticon 2018 that is at the core of this new rumor.
Rumors: Plastic Sister Next Warhammer Store Exclusive
The model that we’ve been seeing time and time again (and most recently spotted all painted up in a GW preview) could be the next Warhammer store exclusive.
Rumors from an Industry Insider:
The plastic Sister model we’ve been seeing over and over will be the next exclusive model at GW stores. She’ll be mono-pose and come with a decorative base.
With that kind of description, we can only think of the model we just showed you above. She might be mono-pose but it looks like she won’t be Easy-to-Build. Her sprue was spotted on display at Warhammer Fest 2019. But hold on. It all gets better…
Warhammer Day Coming June 29th
Warhammer Community gave us a video a while back announcing that Warhammer Day would be held on June 29th to celebrate store’s across the world’s new logo with the hammer and eagle. However, in the video, they also announced some exclusives that would only be found in stores during the event.
One of the exclusives was some kind of Inquisition model showing [REDACTED] across the screen. The Sister of Battle model we showed you above has two Inquisitorial “I”s on her armor as well.
With Deathwatch and Grey Knights being a part of the Inquisition and have already received their full releases, signs are pointing towards the Sister being the exclusive model…
Also briefly mentioned, a store-only exclusive collectible Funko POP! figure would be on sale as well.
With the new set of rumors paired with what’s coming on June 29th, we could be seeing our first plastic Sister! The question is, will you be heading to your local Warhammer store to pick up the new models?
Could the new model be something else besides the Sister after all? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
