Spreading The Good Word, By Violence: Army Showcase

Lorgar was spotted spreading the “good word”, leading his missio2nary force across the tables of Adepticon. Check out this Horus Heresy army!

2019’s Adepticon had a Horus Heresy campaign take place across the duration of the event. While battles were raging, this list was spotted spreading the good word on the tabletops.

Lorgar might have been Big E’s idolizing Son that he didn’t care too much for, but once Lorgar decided to put his devotion towards Chaos, he became a real force to be reckoned with.

The Word Bearer’s exclusive Gal Vorbak clumped up in groups of sheer power-armored Daemonic terror. They acted like linebreakers for the rest of the list. These guys are the Space Marine’s first batch of possessed and the only Legion with big enough cajones to let a Daemon take them over.

Loaded in some other drop pods, there were units filled to the brim with plasma guns. Keep in mind that Horus Heresy has drop pods that are actually worth taking.word bearer aop 5

To help in Lorgar’s “conversions” a Fire Raptor with some horrifying beefed-up nose cannons zipped across the table. Check out the awesome paint job on the pilot’s cockpit. The green fade mixed with the battle-worn black stains on red paint really makes the model pop.word bearer aop 6

And last but not least, a couple of flying tuning forks stayed close behind the Fire Raptor to Intercept and shenanigans the Loyalists might try pulling off. With a light frame and some special autocannons, these guys are cheap, maneuverable, and have loads of damaging potential.
