The Seraphon’s Stronghold: LVO AOS Army Showcase

LVO slann 1

This Slann army is a hobby work of art. Taking a step back from all of the individual units, get a look at the display board! Keeping the Aztec theme of the faction, even the models’ bases have ancient stonework at their feet. And as for the Slann that’s large and in charge, he’s sitting atop a portal to keep bringing his brothers into existence.

Slann are easily one of the most powerful things lore-wise and in-game rules-wise for AoS. While their minds are powerful enough to more or less “remember” things into existence, they still look like a toad man that hasn’t worked out in a couple of decades. But that’s because he doesn’t need to! His brain has a six-pack.

Looking at some of the coolest units of this army, this Bastiladon is painted up in a bright orange contrast from the deep blue hue of the Seraphon’s skin. These guys may not be able to do too much damage, but they can absorb so much hate that they instantly become worth their points. And this one is beautiful!

Among the skinks on the ground loaded into an Engine of the Gods, Ripperdactyls took to the skies to cause a commotion in the enemy’s ranks. Check out the detail in the model’s wings!

While Seraphon might be an older faction, this army is without a doubt one of the prettiest ones we’ve ever seen. Great job flexing those hobby muscles on a powerhouse faction in AoS! What do you think about the Seraphon in AoS 2.0? Is it necessary to always run a Slann?
