Teeny Tiny Clues To GW’s Most Popular Rumor Engine

Don’t miss the latest on one of the most popular Rumor Engines to date from Games Workshop as we look at more teeny tiny clues to what this it could be!

Warhammer Community dropped a rumor engine showing what looked to be nuclear warheads on a revolver-style contraption. While looking at it makes you think of something big, they also called it “teeny tiny”…What could be in the works here?

The perplexing contrivances of the Ironweld Cogsmiths and the peculiar contraptions of the Adeptus Mechanicus are capable of many incredible feats – but the Rumour Engine is really good at just one thing: predicting the future in teeny-tiny bits.

Here’s the bit we’re talking about. We’ve already covered it once before essentially agreeing that it looks Imperial. It’s obviously not any Xenos handicraft. There are not enough spikes to be Chaos, and Orks wouldn’t have something this streamlined. So what could it be?

Let’s take a look at some other similar designs:

moirax revolver

Forge World’s Armiger Moirax W/ Lightning Locks

warbringer revolver

Looking at two popular Forge World releases, the Imperial Warbringer Titan, and Armiger Moriax have revolver-styled weapon feeds.

Blackstone Fortress escalation

Even the Inquisitor out of the Blackstone Fortress expansion set has a revolver, and it’s teeny-tiny, but it’s not shooting literal warheads.

So What’s Teeny Tiny Mean?

AI AA

Aeronautica Imperialis AA Emplacements

warbringer AAAs for things that did make it to the teeny-tiny state, the Warbringer’s AA guns were scaled down recently and used as AA emplacements for Aeronautica Imperialis.

Whatever is ahead, it’s still got us scratching our heads. It appears to be of an Imperial nature for Warhammer 40k, and it could even be a miniaturized version of something new, or already existing in the game.

Do you have any thoughts on what we could be looking at? Will the bit be for a specialist game or for 40k/AoS ?
