Next Week’s New GW Battleforces, Chapter Approved 2019 & More

Reiver H&S Wal Hor primaris space marine chapterDon’t miss all the new releases that GW just confirmed next for Warhammer 40k including Battleforces, Chapter Approved, Kill Team, and Titanicus.

Warhammer Community just let us in on the release lineup that goes up on preorder November 30th. If you enjoy playing 40k, this is a great week for you! There will also be a new update for Kill Team and a new box for Titanicus.

Battleforce box sets

Battleforce 1

The first set of three includes Blood Angels, Space Wolves, and T’au Empire. While the numbers in each box changes, they seem to follow the base structure of 1 Vehicle, 1 Troop, 2 Elites, and 1 HQ. These tend to be great deals and a bargain for what you get. However, it’s important to note that you will have to pick up two more troops and an HQ to get that sweet sweet battalion.

Battleforce 2

The second set is Chaos Space Marines, Drukhari, and Tyranids. Other than the Tyranids absurd model count these also follow the same basic structure above as 1 Vehicle/Heavy Support, 1 Troop, 2 Elites, and 1 HQ.

Battleforce 3

The last set of Battleforces is AOS related. Nighthaunt, Stormcast Eternals, Skaven, and Gloomspite Gitz are all getting boxes. We can expect these all to roughly follow the structure above and include a few troops, elites, heavy support, and an HQ.

Check out what comes inside each of these Christmas Bundles and see how much savings are in store for your wallet this holiday, in our pricing breakdowns:

Titanicus

Titanicus box

Titanicus modelsThis Battleforce-like box set is a little different because it’s for Titanicus! However, just like the Battleforces, we can assume that this will be a perfect way to start a Titanicus army without breaking the bank. Rumored to be $130, we can already see significant savings in this one for sure!

Chapter Approved 2019

chapter approved 2019

Whatever Warhammer 40,000 army you play, you’ll want to get a copy of this year’s Chapter Approved – the essential annual update for all gamers in the 41st Millennium.

Just like clockwork, we’ve got our yearly Chapter Approved coming around. This year they will also be splitting the book into a bundle of two instead of one larger book.

So just like with the Generals Handbook, it looks like all your points values, changed and unchanged will be coming a separate reference manual to the main Chapter Approved book.

We also can expect to see all the important changes for any army that was FAQ’d this year in here so its an essential pick up for basically everyone who plays 40k regularly. The second book contains all the point values for reference when making lists.

Kill Team 2019

Kill team 2019

This rules supplement is like Chapter Approved, but for Kill Team, bringing together points updates, content previously only printed in White Dwarf and brand-new rules for another great year of skirmish gaming.

There will also be rules for Sisters of Battle in here, along with new ways to play with the old warbands

Are you excited about the Chapter Approved 2019? Or are you more excited to start a new army with the Battleforces? Maybe you just want to try out an all Knight Titanicus army.
