RUMORS: GW’s Boxing Day Exclusive Isn’t What We Think

Space Marine walpaperDon’t miss the latest rumors on Games Workshops new exclusive 2019 Boxing Day mini, as it may not be the female Amazonia after all…

Every year around the holidays (aside from 2018), GW puts out an exclusive model called the “Boxing Day mini”. These minis are for a limited run and come in finecast. However, the Holiday season is the only time you can find these models for a while.

Here are a few of the past Boxing Day minis you might remember:

Now that we’ve covered the past minis, here is what this source had to say:

Developing Rumors: Boxing Day Mini Will be a Male

An Industry Insider had this to say only six weeks out from when we’re supposed to see the official Boxing Day mini:

Boxing Day mini is male and not the Amazonian.

For those who don’t know what the Amazonian is, she was a female finecast model that appeared out of nowhere with rumors pointing to her as being the 2019 Boxing Day mini.

So what could this new mini be? Well, GW has spent a lot of time this year focusing in on Primaris Marines so that can never be off the table. However, Boxing Day has historically been a model nobody expected.

Looking at some of the other factions GW hasn’t looked at all year, the Tau, Dark Eldar, Necrons, etc. might be in a good position to get a little Holiday love. This is all just one big shot in the dark, however, as we don’t even know if it’ll be for AoS, 40k, 30k, etc.

Which rumors do you believe? Do you still think it will be the Amazonian model? Would you like a Boxing Day mini to hit the AoS scene?
